this shot shows a couple of things. there’s the five nice brass ‘nuts’ which hold the front heatsink onto the case. they have a large slot so they can be tightened or loosed using a coin – like the one in the picture.
the other thing you can see is where the white pad on the heatpipe block on the front of the case (you can see the three GPU heatpipes going into the block) was stuck to the front heatsink. You have to remove the front heatsink but they don’t tell you that involves pulling it off the block. Don’t worry – it seems to be fine and i’m certain there’s no way to avoid this. (obviously, add a comment if there is a better way of getting to that block.)
